 Carlos Santini, CEO of Mizzen Education

KEN is excited to announce Carlos Santini CEO of Mizzen Education, who leads and helps grow the Mizzen platform as a key resource in elevating the quality of out-of-school time programs for young people across the United States!

Since 2002, Santini has worked closely with school districts, foundations, corporations, and local, state and national leaders to expand the scope and improve the quality of afterschool programming for young people. He has served on the board of the National Afterschool Association and is a featured presenter at national conferences, showcasing best practices in the expanded learning field.

Featured Speaker: Katherine Spinnie

After 20+ years of experience in direct service and management both inside and outside of the classroom, Katherine has combined her background in education, social work and coaching to support professionals in the youth development field. Katherine has Master’s degrees in social work and teaching from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Virginia, respectively. She is an ICF-certified coach, a PQA external assessor and an AYD facilitator. She is a keynote speaker and has led sessions at afterschool conferences at the national, state, and local levels.
