What is Fund IRL?
To date, more than 40 states, including Kansas, have filed lawsuits against leading social media companies. Fund IRL is a national coalition with partnered state networks working to
ensure any payouts from current social media lawsuits help fund programs and services that promote youth well-being and healthy development. “In real life” (IRL) opportunities—ones where young people build skills, make friends, and grow—are a powerful antidote to the harms of social media.
Who is leading this effort?
Fund IRL is a national movement and coalition. The Children’s Funding Project and the Afterschool Alliance are key partners. The Kansas Enrichment Network, the statewide afterschool network, has been selected to lead the Kansas Fund IRL Coalition.
